Gia was born and grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia — and lived there until the age of 25 when he moved to Kyiv. He’s been working in the kitchen since the age of 19. In 2011, during the shooting of the second season of Hell's Kitchen, Gia met Aram Mnatsakanov. This familiarity grew into friendship and partnership, and Gia is both the brand chef and a partner at Mnatsakanov’s Georgian cuisine restaurant Mama Tuta. Gia spends his free time on CrossFit training, weightlifting, and numismatics, collecting silver coins.
