Born in 1958 in Sukhumi (Abkhazia) and went to school there. After graduation, Lilia went to study first art, and then philology. She doesn’t have a professional culinary education and considers herself an impostor. Lilia is the owner and brand chef of Georgian cuisine restaurants Sakhli, Darbazi, Tenili, and Sandro.
