The chef and restaurateur Uilliam Lamberti was born in an Italian family, in the German town of Thannhausen where his parents were working at the time. Soon, the family returned to Italy, and in 1990, Uilliam graduated from the Instituto Professionale Alberghiero (Institute of Hotel Business and Hospitality) with a cook’s diploma. Beginning in 1990, the chef worked at several restaurants in Italy, and in 1996 he moved to Russia. Over the last almost 30 years he has done a lot for the establishment of true Italian taste in the harsh Russian climate by opening such projects as Uilliam’s, Pinch, Ugolek, Sartoria Lamberti, Lumicino, and Historia.
