Restaurant Yale

A Russian cuisine restaurant in a masterfully restored historical mansion, where 19th century frescos and stucco are interspersed with the cultural layers of Soviet-time plaster and wallpaper, generating a space with a unique, literally museum-quality aesthetics.
The food here is the responsibility of chef Dmitry Dmitrienko, a proponent of Nordic style and slow food gastronomy principles – as well as one of the most talented contemporary reformers of Russia’s national culinary tradition. The menu offers cheeses from Nizhny Novgorod, coulibiac with Arzamas geese, ukha fish soup with Volga River pike, and other local specialties, plus the city’s best menu of Champagne wines. This is truly one of the most important regional gastronomic projects.
