Born in 1975 in Busto Arsizio, in northern Italy. As a child, Mauro spent a lot of time at his uncle’s restaurant — at the age of five, he already helped to clear the tables, talked to the guests, and treated them to some candy. When he got older, Mauro went to study at La Scuola di Stresa, a hospitality school. The future chef spent his summer vacation apprenticing in various restaurants until he began receiving exciting job offers himself.
