Restaurant Veladora

A friendly and lively basement at Pokrovka Street, where people drink, snack, and have fun. A simple interior, an open kitchen, and nothing to distract you from tequila and mezcal who are the head honcho at Veladora. Usually that’s quite enough, but here, they also cook. The menu has delicately tailored Mexican hits such as guacamole, quesadilla, corn soup with bacon, and tacos. There is also the sublime brownie with chili peppers, smoked caramel, and tamarind sour cream. It is the only thing in the Dessert section of the menu, but that’s how it should be: all others would long fade.
