Restaurant Tottori

A rare occasion when the restaurant’s ambitious advertising slogan about teleporting to Japan is no empty boast. A quiet, semi-intimate space that looks more like somebody’s residence than a restaurant at Novaya Ploshchad. Scattered, subdued lighting from paper lanterns, old-fashioned posters that exhort the visitors to drink Japanese beer, glittering miniatures with rabbits in the private rooms, and a dozen and a half ramens – some of the best in Moscow. There is other food as well – the one you’d eat throughout the day (including Wague beef of rare beauty that’s exhibited right in the restaurant), but ramen is the real treasure here.
There are very few tables at Tottori, so make sure to book ahead, especially if you want to hold a celebration there.
