Restaurant Kaifuso

Japanese restaurant by Arkady Novikov has opened on the lower ground floor of the Brasserie «Kuznetsky Most» at the corner of Kuznetsky Most and Petrovka streets. Thanks to the vision of its creators and the efforts of designer Evgeniya Uzhegova, the restaurant resembles a well-stocked, luxurious treasure chest filled with an array of Asian riches: there are silks painted with birds and flowers, partitions featuring golden ginkgo leaves, subdued warm lighting, and countless handmade, jewel-like details so characteristic of the East.

The Japanese-Chinese menu reflects the same meticulousness and love for detail inherent to Asian culture: carabinero shrimp is served with sturgeon caviar, the rare crystal grass – a delicacy even in Moscow – is complemented with a nutty sauce, gyoza is filled with Wagyu beef, and cheesecake is accompanied by black sesame. The kitchen is led by brand-chef Igor Kornev, who is advised by chefs from China and Japan.
