Bar Igla

An intimate venue that accommodates only 20 guests, this speakeasy bar and music club on Gorokhovaya Street is a new venture from restaurateurs Anri Ber, Stephen Sharma, Roman Kiselev, and media manager Ilya Altshuller. All of them, except for Altshuller, are recognized for their involvement in creating the Nothing Fancy wellness bistro and the recently launched Casper bistronomy on Kirochnaya Street. The place boasts a perfect retro vibe, highlighted by a vintage sound system, a vinyl record collection, and an easy-going atmosphere reminiscent of a classic Asian izakaya. The menu features a small selection of Japanese cuisine, including hand rolls, kushiyaki skewers, and katsu sando, along with an excellent alcohol selection. Reservations are not accepted, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
